Ronald A. Jackson III, “Bear”, “Mr. Miyagi”, 21, of Columbus, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2012. He was born in Elyria on January 27, 1991 and was a 2009 graduate of Elyria High School, where he played football and was active in the ROTC program.
He was a member of Original Glorious Apostolic Church in Elyria, and enjoyed playing Playstation 3 and football.
He is survived by his daughter, Amiah Jackson, and an infant due June 6, 2012; his companion, Clarissa Natal of Columbus; his parents, Ronald Jackson, Jr. of Elyria, and Jamie E. Waugh of Columbus; stepmother, Amber Adkins of Elyria; stepfather, Torrey Moss of Columbus; brother, Prince Jackson of Columbus; sisters, Shyla Jackson and Iyanna Moss, both of Columbus, and Cheyenne Jackson of Lorain; maternal grandmother, Teresa Charley of Columbus; maternal grandfather, Stephen Charley of Elyria; nephew, Jermiah Jackson; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Reverend Ronald A. Jackson, Sr. and Ruth Ann Jackson; maternal grandfather, James E. Boone; and step grandfather, Johnnie L. Butler.
Friends may call Thursday, February 9, 2012 in the Original Glorious Apostolic Church, 995 Foster Ave., Elyria, from 10 A.M. until the time of service at 11 A.M., where the Pastor Doris Williams will officiate.
