Mary Louise Lee, 88, of Grafton, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, February 19, 2012 in New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain, after a long illness. She was born March 4, 1923 in Lewisburg, Tennessee, living in Grafton area since 1953.
She was a past member of LaGrange Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and helped in the nursery. She was currently a member at Elyria Baptist Church on Washington Ave., Elyria. She retired in 1989 from the Seaway Bolt Co. in Columbia Station after 20 years as a machine operator. Mrs. Lee enjoyed country gospel music, traveling to Florida and Tennessee, visiting with family and spending time with her family in Ohio.
She is survived by her son, Marvin Lee, Jr. of Mooresville, North Carolina; daughters, Paulette Hatcher of Grafton and Judy Brown of Elyria; grandchildren, Tracy Dorsey, Kelley Turnbull, Ron, Christopher and Michael Lee and Alison Rodriguez; great-grandchildren, Amber Adkins, Brenna and Owen Turnbull, Ava and Stephen Rodriguez, and Savannah Lee; great-great-grandchildren, Aaron, Emma and Kayla Adkins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin in 1990; grandson, Stephen Brown; three brothers and one 1 sister.
Friends may call in the Blackburn-Duke Funeral Home, 1021 Main St., Grafton, Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from 4 P.M. until the time of service at 7 P.M. Burial will be in Lone Oak Cemetery, Lewisburg, Tennessee.
