Critter Chronicles: Blake

Blake is a very happy dog with mesmerizing brown eyes. He lost his home and family in the tornadoes in Kentucky a couple of months ago and ended up at a county dog pound waiting for someone to claim him. Sadly, no one did and he started to get depressed and kennel-crazy after being cooped up for two months. The shelter staff was considering euthanasia since he had no prospects for adoption. Canine Lifeline offered to give this poor guy a second chance so he hitched a ride there. Blake settled in beautifully there and had a great time playing with the other dogs both large and small, splashing around in the wading pools. Now Blake is at Friendship APL. He’s very strong on the leash so will need work in that department but you can tell that he’s very eager to please and wants to learn all he can to be a canine good citizen. Blake learns quickly, he’s adjusted to crate-training and is house trained too. If you can open your home and heart to this sweet guy, please visit him at the shelter.
