Costume: “My costume was handed down to me by my grandmother. It was made in Ghana, Africa. It consists of the colors red and brown with a stitched design on the front and around the sleeves. There is also an orange design on the front that represents my growth as a young lady.”
Ethnic roots: “I am of an African descent. My great-grandparents were born and raised in the southern state of Tennessee. They migrated to the north and began their life here in Ohio. Although I was born in Atlanta, Georgia, I have lived in Lorain County since age two.”

Future plans: “I plan to achieve many goals in the near future. I will be attending Baldwin-Wallace College in the fall to major in nursing, so I can become a pediatric nurse practitioner. I plan to minor in nutrition/dietetics and Spanish as well.”
