The Lorain Lions, who have been champions for the blind and vision-related causes for nearly all of their 90 years, will be providing free vision screenings for young children this weekend at Lorain International Festival.
Families can come to their booth, but screenings “will be sporadic because we’ve got our people that are trained on the machines and others who aren’t,” according to Lions club President Douglas Kayle.
He recommended coming Friday between 5 and 9 p.m. and Saturday or Sunday in the late afternoon. Screenings are for children under the age of 12.
