Patty Hansen, 48, formerly of Elyria, died Monday, June 18, 2012 at her home in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, following a 10 month battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Patty was born in Millersburg, Ohio, on July 14, 1963 and lived in Elyria, Madison, Ohio and moved to Bridgeville, Pennsylvania to be closer to her grandchildren.
She was a graduate of Elyria High School with the class of 1981. She was employed for the former Tops grocery store and then as nurse’s aide.
She is survived by her three loving children, Alicia (Andy) Repko of Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, Brandon (Rabia) Egy of Eastlake, and Rachel Egy; her fiance, Dan Hemphill of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Ava and A.J. Repko of Bridgeville, Pennsylvania; mother, Lora Hansen of Elyria; brother, James M. Hansen and Anita Dunn of Amherst; sisters, Jennifer (Tony) Carrozzino of Grafton, Kim (Dave) Machock of Elyria; nieces, Sarah (Matt) Bennett, Isabella Carrozzino and Nicole Dunn; great nephew, Devin Bennett; also surviving is James R. Hansen.
Patty was preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Hansen in 1988; and Harry Mitchell in 2010.
Friends will be received from 2 P.M. until the time of service at 4:30 P.M. at the Reichlin Roberts Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland Street, Elyria, Saturday, June 23, 2012. Burial in Brookdale Cemetery will be private.
