Anita Diane Banach nee (Craig), 48, of Grafton, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012, at her home, following a long illness. She was born in Elyria, January 21, 1964.
Anita was employed by Gunn Honda of San Antonio, Texas as a Service Manager. She loved spending time with her family, reading and strengthening her relationship with Christ. Anita enjoyed new business opportunities and was a lover of animals.
Survivors include her husband of 14 years, Leo; daughter, Rachel Cunningham of New York City; stepdaughter, Jennifer Banach of Lorain; stepson, James Banach of Lorain; half brother, Richard Craig of Crestwood, Kentucky; two sisters, Susan M. Lewis (Ronald) of LaGrange, and Kathie Craig (Scott-Mizen) of Grafton.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 27, 2012, from 4 until 7 P.M., at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), (440) 322-4626, Elyria. The funeral service will be Thursday, June 28, 2012, 11 A.M., at the funeral home. Pastor Paul Jaster, of Emmanual Lutheran Church in Elyria, will officiate. Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria.
