Henry “Hank” Zuckerman, 80, of North Ridgeville, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Center Ridge Health Campus in North Ridgeville, following a long illness. He was born March 27, 1932 in Boston, Massachusetts.
Hank had served in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and playing pool.
Survivors include three sons, Ronald (Timi), Mark and David, all of Elyria; daughter, Sonya Reilly; additional survivors include nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren; sister, Sylvia Koritz (Harold) of Boston, Massachusetts; and Hank’s dear companion, Jeannie Capone of Avon.
Hank was preceded in death by his wife, Fonnie (nee Osborne); and his parents, Louis and Sarah (nee Wiener) Zuckerman.
Friends may call 1 to 4 P.M., Sunday, July 1, 2011 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria, (440) 322-4626. Graveside service will be 11 A.M., Monday, July 2, 2012 at Resthaven Memory Gardens 3700 Center Rd. (Rt. 83), Avon, where V.F.W. Post #1079 will provide full military honors (please meet at the cemetery).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Hank and Fonnie Zuckerman’s memory to The American Cancer Society.
