Richard Scott Dupler, Jr., 75, of Dandridge, Tennesse and formerly of Elyria, Huron and North Ridgeville, went home to be with his Savior, Wednesday, June 13, 2012, after a long illness.
Mr Dupler taught 7th and 8th grade math and pre algebra in the Huron, Vermilion, and Elyria schools, retiring in 1998. After retiring, he moved to the beautiful mountains in Tennessee.
Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Mabel L. Herman; father, Richard S. Dupler, Sr.; and daughter, Louise Simone Bryne.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Caudill Dupler of Dandridge, Tennessee; daughter, Dawn Vanessa Dupler of Lorain; stepchildren, Michelle Woods Amburgey Dupler, and David Woods; he is also survived by grandchildren, Katrina Robinson of Elyria and Matthew Robinson of Amherst; great-granddaughter, Zoey Gabriel; step grandchildren, Justin, Joshua, and Nathan Amburgey, Thomas Smith, Kari, Kevin, Keesha, Kalvin and Christopher Woods; Richard; brother, Robert L. Dupler, Sr. of Titusville, Floriada; sisters, Sharon Naeem, Elyria and Carmina LaPointe of Westlake.
Funeral Service was held Friday, June 15, 2012 at Farrar Funeral Home, Jefferson City, Tennessee, with Reverend David Cross officiating. Entombment was at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
