Jered Weaver proved to much for the Indians on Monday, the Angels right-hander pitching his team to a 3-0 win in the series opener at Progressive Field. Weaver didn’t allow a run over seven innings. Cleveland starter Ubaldo Jimenez was effective, allowing three runs over a season-high 7 2/3 innings.
