Beverly J. Kopcho (nee Filmore), 84, of Grafton, passed away Monday, June 25, 2012 at a hospice facility in Dublin, Georgia. Born and raised in Elyria, before moving to Grafton in 1976, she was a graduate of Elyria High School and the Elyria Business College. Beverly moved to Georgia with her daughter in August of 2011.
She worked at Ohio Bell in Cleveland, American Standard, American Brake Shoe, Discount Drug Mart in Elyria and retired from Dalton Industries in Lorain. She also worked several years as a secretary at Elyria High School. Mrs. Kopcho enjoyed traveling and spending her winters in Leigh Acres, Florida with her husband.
Survivors include sons, John F. of Bedford, Kentucky, Jerry M. of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and daughter, Jill M. Biltz of Gray, Georgia; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Precededing her in death were her husband of 64 years, Bert A.; her parents, Raymond and Bernice Filmore; brother, Robert Filmore; and sisters, Nancy Filmore and Mary Hill (Metcalf).
There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst.
