LORAIN — Donna Brown, the woman accused of murdering her two cousins Thursday, was arraigned Friday in Lorain Municipal Court.
Brown is facing murder and felonious assault charges. She is being held on a $1 million bond.
According to Dale Linder, father of the two murdered men, Dale Jr. and Justin Linder, Brown entered his West 23rd Street home around 6:30 a.m. Thursday and shot his sons. They died from single gunshot wounds to the chest, according to Lorain County Coroner Dr. Stephen Evans.
Lorain police Lt. Mark Carpentiere would not say what Brown’s motivation was for allegedly shooting the two men. Carpentiere said police are still working to piece together what happened.
Brown’s court-appointed attorney, Mike Camera, said he has not spoken with his client yet. He said Brown will likely be indicted before her preliminary hearing set for July 16.
