LORAIN — Three Lorain residents were charged with breaking and entering after they allegedly tried to take a hot water heater from a home on Apple Avenue, according to a police report.
Hugo Leon Marcano, 36, Orlando Torres Rivera, 37, and Kayla Marie Dejesus, 26, were found in the home in the 2300 block of Apple Avenue shortly before 11 p.m. Thursday, the report stated.
Marcano told police he broke into the home to take the hot water heater because his was broken.
He told police that Dejesus was only in the house to stop him and Rivera from taking the tank.
