Monday, July 9
9:05 a.m. — 100 block Innovation Drive, reported theft of copper pipe from Lorain County Community College’s Smart Building.
1:20 p.m. — 3300 block Midway Mall, reported theft of $600 at T-Mobile. A store manager said the cash and keys to open the safe were missing.
2:50 p.m. — 300 block East Ave., Annette Wiley, 55, same address, arrested and charged with assault, theft and menacing. Wiley’s ex-boyfriend said Wiley scratched him on the back of his neck and taunted him to hit her so she could have him arrested. He said Wiley then stole two bottles of Malibu rum from him. Police said when Wiley was located, she was under the influence of alcohol and told her ex-boyfriend that she would kill him.
7:17 p.m. – 100 block West Ave., reported theft of a motorcycle. The motorcycle was reportedly parked behind an apartment building, and was a 1995 Honda CBR 600 CC, purple and yellow in color.
9:38 p.m. — 300 block 11th St., police were dispatched for several people on the street yelling, swearing and threatening each other. Police said the fight stemmed from two girls who were fighting and then the parents became involved. One mother told police she told her daughter to fight the girl because she had been bullying her for some time. Police said they were unable to determine who the primary aggressor was, and no one was arrested. Police were later called to the area for a report of men threatening people with guns, but no suspects were found.
10 p.m. — 1000 block East Ave., reported theft of a lawn mower.
10:40 p.m. — 300 block 13th St., reported criminal damage of a motor vehicle. Police said the suspect tried to pry open a window, causing damage to the frame.

Monday, July 9
5:23 p.m. — 300 block Augusta Ave., reported theft of Magic gaming cards and figurines from a motor vehicle.
7:55 p.m. — 2000 block Reeves Ave., Scott L. Miller, 53, same address, arrested and charged with domestic violence. Miller’s wife said Miller threatened to kill her, and she was afraid he would hit her.
8:47 p.m. — West 11th Street and King Street, bicycle reported stolen at Lakeview Park North.
Tuesday, July 10
12:20 a.m. — 2700 block Skyline Drive, a woman reported she heard a loud bang and saw smoke coming from her mailbox. Police said the mailbox was blown apart by the explosion.
12 a.m. — 1500 block Herbert Drive, a woman reported that two men, who used to live in the apartment building, knocked at her door and offered to sell her crack. She said after her boyfriend told them to leave, they drove by in a dark blue older model GMC Yukon yelling and waving a handgun in the air.

12:20 a.m. — 300 block S. Professor St., Jacob R. Ritter, 21, of Oberlin, charged with criminal trespassing.

2:55 p.m. — East Lorain Street, aggravated menacing complaint forwarded to prosecutors.

2:45 a.m. — South Main Street, Robert Meanor, 40, of Wellington, arrested on two warrants after complaint of suspicious person at The Feve.
5:20 p.m. — U.S. Route 20, Austin M. Childs, 18, of New London, charged with theft at Walmart.
