11:07 a.m. — 900 block Duffey St., public address system valued at $2,000 and gas can of fuel stolen from Little League North after someone used a sledge hammer to get into a storage shed.
3:45 p.m. — Garford and Oxford avenues, man said an unknown man robbed him of $90 after sticking an object into his back that felt like a gun.
4:30 p.m. — 200 Park Meadow Drive, Brandon Fleisher, 25, of Elyria, charged with possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia after the Ohio Adult Parole Authority reportedly found drugs at his apartment.
8:45 p.m. — Middle Avenue at Fuller Road, Joseph C. Edwards, 41, of Elyria, charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop.
9:33 p.m. — 200 block Harwood St., someone threw a green marble through a window.
9:55 p.m. — Phillip Court, woman called police to Cascade Park, saying a youth was bleeding. The boy, who said he was punched in an argument on Neufer Court, was taken to EMH Medical Center in Elyria.

2 a.m. —500 block Turner St., woman tells police her baby’s father attempted to strangle her.
5:01 a.m. — Pratt Boulevard and Hodge Court, intoxicated man said he was jumped by some men from Cleveland.

Thursday, July 12
3:22 a.m. — Rags Wine and Beverage, 1089 Meister Road, window broken, at least one bottle of Scotch whiskey stolen.
3:26 a.m. — Double A Food Mart, 4450 Oberlin Ave., front window of store broken, up to $1,500 in coins stolen. Store video shows a black man with a thin build wearing dark clothing and with a white T-shirt wrapped around his face climbing over security bars and into the store. The video also shows a tall white man enter the store.
1:26 p.m. — 3000 block Jaeger Road, Ismael Rivas, 33, of Lorain, charged with theft of shoes, shorts and a shirt from Kohl’s.
2:33 p.m. — 1700 Oakdale Ave., police called to take a belated complaint about a male exposing himself to a 13-year-old girl a month ago and asking for a sex act.
4:30 p.m. — 5600 Ashland Ave., a television and shot glasses with logos of states stolen from a home.
5:18 p.m. — 1800 Broadway, Benjamin Fligner of Fligner’s Market “violently shoved” while trying to stop a man from stealing $60 of steaks. Cornered outside the store, the man returned the meat but got away.
8:57 p.m. — Lehigh Avenue and Randall Street, Bradley Marrero, 31, of Elyria, charged with assault and disorderly conduct/
intoxication after another man said Marrero tried to stab him in an argument over a tattoo and an air brush machine.
10:15 p.m. — 3100 block Elyria Ave., one man reports the theft of $18,760 of items in a burglary and another resident of the home reports the loss of $1,200 in property.
Friday, July 13
12:22 a.m. — 1600 block Tait St., police assist 24-year-old woman who took pills, cut her wrists and got in a bathtub. The woman, who was taken to Mercy Medical Center, told police it was her 25th suicide attempt.
