If you’re looking for a way to keep active, get information about health and fitness and have fun all at once — Lorain County Fitness Walks are for you!
Lorain County Fitness Walks is a free weekly walking group open to all ages, meeting every Monday at the Oberlin Lorain County Metro Parks Splash Zone facilities — Starting at 5:30 PM. Take a stroll and get moving with us!
Fitness Walks are located at the Lorain County Metro Parks Splash Zone facilities, located at 95 West Hamilton Rd., Oberlin, Ohio 44074. Each walker will receive a bottle of water and enter for a chance to win prizes for participating. First time walkers will get a free pedometer at registration. Discuss health topics with the featured speaker of the week then walk with WOBL/WDLW on-air personalities for 30-minutes, while enjoying time outdoors and getting to know fellow walkers. Join a walk whenever you have time in your schedule, a weekly commitment is not necessary.
Mark your calendar each Monday at 5:30 PM. The walks will feature the following speaker for the remaining July Walk:
