LORAIN — A Lorain man was admittedly feeling pretty unlucky after he was cited for driving under suspension by the same deputy twice in less than nine hours.
According to a report from the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office, Roy Pinkston III, 27, was first cited for for driving under an OVI suspension about 8:30 last night on state Route 82 in Eaton Township.
Just before 4:30 a.m., deputy Plemons recognized Pinkston’s car stopped at Broadway and Cooper Foster Park Road in Lorain, the report said.
Plemons stopped the 2000 Ford Taurus to speak with Pinkston.
According to the report, Pinkston laughed and said “Not you again. What kinda luck do I have?”
Pinkston told Plemons he was driving again because he couldn’t find anyone to drive his car home.
Pinkston was again cited with driving under an OVI suspension, and the car was towed, the report said.
According to the report, Plemons may cite the vehicle’s owner with wrongful entrustment at a later time.
