School is just around the corner and coming up quick. Are your children’s vaccinations up-to-date? Lorain County General Health District Health Commissioner, Kenneth G. Pearce states, “Vaccines are the best way to ensure that everyone, especially children, stays protected from life-threatening illnesses caused by diseases.” Making sure that children of all ages receive their vaccinations on time is one of the most important things parents can do to make sure their children are healthy.
The Lorain County General Health District (LCGHD) reminds all to check immunization records and get vaccinated on time, but it is never too late to start or get back on schedule. LCGHD hosts walk-in immunization clinics throughout Lorain County. Below are just a few dates and locations where child shots will be available.
