Walter J. Piszczek, 92, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012.
Mr. Piszczek was a WW II U.S. Air Force Veteran, and was a life member of V.F.W. Post 9520 in Brunswick.
He was the beloved husband of the late Doris R. (nee Pekarcsik); loving uncle of Leon (Caron), Stan (Pat), Gerald (Cindy), Debbie Schutt (Russ), Linda Wetzel (Ken), Christine (Tom Williams), Wendy Martin (Jim); great-uncle of 16 and great-great uncle of three.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Viola (nee Koza); brothers, Leon and Stanley Piszczek; and a sister, Jean Swayna.
Mass of Christian Burial Monday, July 30, 2012, 10 A.M., at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Rd., Brunswick. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 29, 2012, from 2 until 6 P.M., in the Tomon & Sons Funeral Home, 7327 Pearl Rd. (South of Bagley), Middleburg Heights. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
