Rita Rock (nee Arthur), 74, of Elyria, passed away Friday, August 3, 2012. She was born in Akron on December 1, 1937.
Rita worked as a nurse in the ER at Allen Memorial Hospital and at The Villa Camillus. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, William Benton (Amanda) of Burbank, Cindy O’Brien (Jerry) of Sullivan, Mike Rock of Redhaw, Scott Rock (Laurie) of West Salem, and Candy Rose of Wakeman; step-children Jean of Arkansas, Holly of Tennessee, Chris of Delaware, and Dave of Oberlin; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard, David, and John Ferry; and sister, Roberta Burbine.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Rock; and one grandson.
Funeral service will be Monday, August 6, 2012 at 12:30 P.M. at the Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second St., Elyria. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M prior to the service. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
