KITA
On June 23, Kita was surrendered by her owner, because the family had to move. Kita had just whelped 12 puppies on June 17, and this was too much for the family. Kita and her pups were transferred to foster care on June 24. Kita took good care of her pups until they were weaned. Then she and her pups were transferred to different foster homes where the remained until they were ready for adoption. Kita gets along with dogs — but she does not like cats. She can be persistent if she wants something and for this reason would need to be supervised or kept in a safe room or kennel if left alone. She is eager to greet you at the door and may jump up or run outside during her excitement. Kita is very loyal and immediately forms an attachment. She loves to cuddle and thinks she is a lap dog. Kita knows basic commands and is housebroken. It would be best to have a good fenced yard for Kita to play and run. She is very strong and would benefit from training, especially for walking on a leash.
