Kathleen M. (Dommin) Schwinn, 90, of Valley City, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, August 16, 2012. Kathleen was born August 1, 1922 in Fayette, Tennessee to the late Fenton and Mary Lou Walker. She has resided in Medina County for many years. Kathleen was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Schwinn, married 28 years; children, Gayle (George) Berthold of Ravenna, Leonard Dommin, Jr. “Skip” (Lynn) of New York, Patty Dvorak, Robert (Becky) Schwinn and Bill (Diana) Schwinn, all of New London; 20 grandchildren; and 29 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leonard Dommin, Sr. in 1978; sisters, Maxine Lewis and Ruth Sparks; and a brother, Charles Walker; sons, Lester and David Schwinn.
Calling hours will be Sunday, August 19, 2012, from 2 until 4 P.M., at Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Rd. in Valley City. Funeral service will be Monday, August 20, 2012, at 11 A.M. in the funeral home, with Rev. Richard Steele officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
