Ellen Mae Mileti (nee Wildman), 91, of Elyria, died Sunday, September 2, 2012. She was born April 30, 1921 in Mechanicsburg, Ohio, moved to Birmingham in 1936 and was a 1939 graduate of Birmingham High School.
During her lifetime, Mrs. Mileti was employed at Wilmot Printing Company in Elyria and Bettcher Industries in Birmingham, from where she retired in 1983.
She was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ, had served on several boards and was an active participant in the needlepoint project of the church. She was a past member of Elyria Chapter No. 165 Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Grand Cross of Color. She was an avid reader and had traveled with her husband throughout the world.
Ellen is survived by sons, Dennis W. (Kathi) Mileti and Wayne A. Mileti, both of Elyria; grandsons, Marc (Alicia Turner), Michael (Kelly), Brian and Brent Mileti, Drew (Ali) and Aaron Chapin; great-grandchildren, Mia and Matthew Mileti, Jessica Lund, Garrett Chapin and Sophie and Riley Chapin; and a sister, Ruth Lewis of Norwalk.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Anthony in 2009; parents, Walter and Ollie Wildman; and brothers, Graham B., William F. and Chester E. Wildman.
Friends will be received Thursday, September 6, 2012, from 11 A.M., until the time of a 1 P.M. Service, at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. Reverend Christina Kukuk will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
