LORAIN — A North Ridgeville man who police said has 12 license suspensions and two drunken-driving convictions has again been accused of drunken driving.
Police said they stopped Clifford L. Williams for making a wide left turn on Grove Avenue near West 42nd Street around 8:05 a.m. Sunday. They said Williams, who wasn’t wearing a shirt or shoes, smelled of alcohol and was incoherent. They said his pants were unzipped and his belt undone and he couldn’t walk without assistance.
Williams, of the 35000 block of Mildred Avenue, refused to take a Breathalyzer test when being booked.
Williams, 45, is free on a $2,050 bond and is due Wednesday in Lorain Municipal Court.
