Hattie V. Curran (nee Clark), 88, of Lorain, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Golden Acres Nursing Home, after a two year illness. Hattie relocated to the Amherst and Lorain area in 1962, moving from Marietta.
Survivors include her son, Gary (Sandy) Lane of Amherst; two grandchildren, Rick (Christine) Lane of Amherst, Robin (John) Price of Wakeman; step-grandson, Robert Robinson of Amherst; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.
Hattie was homemaker until she became employed in 1976 at the Autumn Aegis Nursing Home, Lorain, from where she retired in 1990. For the first five years working there, Hattie was a kitchen aide. She spent the remainder of her career in the housekeeping department. In retirement, which she loved, Hattie enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching television.
All services and interment will be private.
