Elizabeth Roberts (nee Roach), 83, of Elyria, passed away peacefully in the Wesleyan Village of Elyria Wednesday, September 5, 2012, following a long illness. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee, and was employed as a kitchen helper for the Oberlin College for many years.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Sandra (Warren) Daniels and Barbara Malone, both of Elyria, Addie (Donald) McChary of Cleveland, Ernestine Whitfield of Atlanta, Georgia; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call Monday, September 10, 2012, from 10 A.M., until time of service at 11 A.M., in the Original Glorious Apostolic Church, 995 Foster Ave., Elyria, where Evangelist Doris Williams is Pastor. The Reverend Arnette Thorton will officiate the services. Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
