ELYRIA — An Elyria woman was arrested on her birthday after she apparently got drunk, caused a disturbance and threatened police officers who tried to calm her down.
Kasey Paschall, 23, is charged with disorderly conduct persisting.
Elyria police were called to the parking lot of 120 Riverside Court just after 7 last night after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance involving an infant.
According to a police report, Paschall, who smelled heavily of alcohol demanded “Why is the (expletive) Elyria police here?”
She continued, “It’s my birthday, and I can be as drunk as (expletive), and you’re not needed here!” the report said.
Officers explained to her that she can be drunk but she cannot be disorderly.
Paschall’s husband told police that his mother got his wife drunk on shots of liquor and dropped her off at home, where the couple began arguing in the parking lot.
Paschall then confronted an officer, “getting into his personal space,” according to the report, and yelling, “My stepdad’s a cop. I know my laws. You’re not needed here, so get the (expletive) out of here.”
She then began waving her arms in the faces of officers, who had to move to avoid being hit, and screamed, “(Expletive) Elyria cops get the (expletive) out of here!” the report said.
Once she was placed in a cruiser, Paschall yelled “When the cuffs come off, I’m gonna rock everyone’s world. (Expletive) Elyria police,” the report said.
Paschall then was able to move her cuffs to the front of her body and began kicking the car’s caged divider. She continued to yell obscenities and call officers names and threaten them that “she is going to sue them to become rich,” the report said.
At the Lorain County Jail, Paschall continued to yell until she saw a police dog and responded “I don’t want to (expletive) with that dog!”
