Patricia Bullock (nee Daniels), 65, of Lorain, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain, following a lengthy illness. She was born August 19, 1947 in Reynolds, Georgia and had been a resident of Lorain since 1949.
Patricia was a 1966 graduate of Clearview High School and had attended Lorain Business College and LCCC. She was employed at Mercy Regional Medical Center, formerly Lorain Community Hospital, as a dietary aide, transporter and retired from the emergency room and triage as a patient access liaison after 23 years of service. She was formerly employed at US Steel.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Lorain since 1959, was an avid bingo player and loved spending time with her three grandsons and taking summer vacations with her family.
She will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Tiwauna K. Daniels and Saundra D. Daniels, both of Lorain; son, Darrell A. Bullock of Lorain; brother, Harris Daniels, Jr. (Delores) of Lorain; sister, Shirleen “Roxie” Fitzpatrick of Columbus; three grandsons, Taiwan M. Jackson, Tre’Von M. Jackson and Te’Von M. Jackson, all of Lorain; and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
Patricia was preceded in death by her son, Stanley D. E. Daniels; former husband, Edward F. Bullock; parents, Harris Daniels, Sr. and Cora Daniels (nee Guice); brothers, Otis, Nathaniel and Walter Lee Daniels; sisters, Lois (Daniels) Stevenson, Rhodie (Daniels) West and Rosa Lee (Daniels) Blakely; grandparents, Arthur and Georgia Guice; aunt, Arthur Ola (Guice) Bennett; and cousins, Herman Guice and Evelyn McNeil-Burts.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2012 from 11 A.M. until time of service at 12 Noon at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 1516 E 30th St., Lorain. The Rev. Donald K. Young, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
