12:57 a.m. — Emergency room at EMH Elyria Medical Center, 45-year-old homeless man treated for stab wound from scissors. He told police he did not want to press charges.
3:30 a.m. — 800 block Allen St., Siera Newton, 25, of Elyria, charged with disorderly conduct/intoxication and criminal trespass.
9:24 a.m. — 400 block East Ave., counterfeit $10 bill passed at gas station.
6 p.m. — Fuller Road and East Avenue, J.C. S. Chapman, 23, of Elyria, charged with domestic violence after a police officer making a traffic stop investigates when he hears a woman call “help” from another car. Police pursued, stopped the car and charged Chapman. The woman, who was reportedly head-butted and had a cut on her forehead, declined to press charges.
7:45 p.m. —43000 block Telegraph Road, woman noticed her purse was missing from her unlocked car the day after she dropped off her child at the Church of the Open Door School.
10 p.m. — Hampshire Court, Mark and Mathew Barnes, both 27, of Elyria, charged with theft after allegations they dismantled a shed at Colonial Oaks Mobile Home Park and sold it for scrap.
11:25 p.m. — 1100 block Melvyn Lane, Donald Mims, 27, of Elyria, charged with assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest and obstructing officials business after he fled from police and was tackled following a traffic stop. Mims was also wanted on warrants for crimes ranging from drunken driving to aggravated menacing. The driver of the vehicle, Jose Alicea, 38, of Lorain, was charged with driving under suspension and obstructing official business.

9:03 a.m. — 1900 block Meister Road, two 46-inch televisions, a game system, five watches, a BMX bike and several rifles and shotguns along with armor-piercing ammunition stolen from residence.
9:22 a.m. — 1800 block Homewood Drive, man reports that most of his money was taken from a wallet at his residence.
10 a.m. — 1800 block Garden Ave., woman gives police letters and says she suspects her 15-year-old daughter was having behavioral problems due to a relationship with a 34-year-old man.
10:22 a.m. — 100 block Brownell Ave., report of missing juvenile.
12:39 p.m. — 5300 block Leavitt Road, Mariluz Castillo, 23, of Lorain, charged with theft of $78.12 of cosmetics.
4:35 p.m. — 3000 block Jaeger Road, Joseph Geiger, 24, homeless, charged with theft of shoes.
7 p.m. — 1600 block New Mexico Ave., women report that their sister Linda Denise McKee, 62, who uses a walker after hip replacement, was missing from her residence. A friend told the sisters she last spoke to McKee on Thursday.
