Join us for a morning of learning! Our 5th Annual Volunteer Training Day is scheduled for Saturday, September 22, 2012 from 7:30am to 12:30pm at Lorain County Community College's Spitzer Conference Center. This year's training features the following topics: leadership in personal, professional, and volunteer life; incivility in volunteer assignments; and highlights of the 2011 Lorain County Community Health Assessment. There is no charge for this training, but registration is required. Nursing continuing education hours are also available at no charge.
This training is highly recommended for all Lorain County Medical Reserve Corps, Community Emergency Response Team, and Red Cross volunteers. Additionally, anyone who is interested in the topics or joining one of our county's volunteer programs should attend.
