Monday, Sept. 10
10:27 a.m. — 1800 block Turner Blvd., a woman reported that someone broke out the rear window of her vehicle, which was parked behind her home.
4:10 p.m. — 3200 block Midwall Mall, officers were sent to Aeropostale for a fight between customers and staff at the store. The store manager and an employee said a woman began arguing with the employee because she felt she was following her around the store. The manager said the woman then slapped her in the face as she tried to get her to leave the store. Both customers said the manager poked one of the women in the face but said they never struck her. Police did not charge anyone in the incident but told the customers they were banned from the store.
5:07 p.m. — 600 block Garfield Ave., a utility room window was reportedly shot and shattered.
8:55 p.m. — Wilkes Villa Housing Complex, Shaun L. Newson, 33, 1000 block West Ave., arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Tuesday, Sept. 11
12:20 a.m. — North Abbe Road and French Creek, David A. Hollis, Jr., 23, 2000 block Scott Court, issued a citation for menacing. Hollis’s ex-girlfriend said Hollis pulled up next to her in his vehicle and threatened to “beat her (expletive)” for visiting another guy.
3:09 a.m. — 300 block Fourth St., reported breaking and entering of a detached garage.
