Paul has been one of Jehovah’s Witnesses since October 7, 1967 and was a member of the Lorain West Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Many loved Paul because of his devotion to God. He served as an elder for many years in the congregation. Paul was always eager to serve others and promote the spiritual interest of the congregation in any way he could. He loved going door to door to talk with his neighbors about the good news that our Creator, Jehovah God, will one day soon end all suffering and make this earth a Paradise. Many enjoyed Paul’s sense of humor and felt refreshed by his mild, easy going demeanor.
Paul worked for General Industry for 17 years. Then he worked for Ridge Tool Company until retiring in 1994 after 24 years. His other interest included fishing and playing cards with friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Ann; daughter, Judith Cook; parents, John and Anna Priestas; brothers, John, George, William Priestas; and sisters, Mary Nagy, Vera Pavlocic, and Dorothy Balduff.
