LaDonna Conklin, 86, a life long resident of Wellington, died peacefully Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at her home after a long illness. She was born January 6, 1926.
She enjoyed sewing, cake decorating, macrame, crocheting and flower arranging. LaDonna also loved crafting with her late husband, Charles. She was a member of the Rochester United Methodist Church and a member of the Rochester Garden Club.
She is survived by her three loving daughters, Karen (Michael) Stemple of Norwalk, Sandra (Joseph) Kolinda of LaGrange and Deborah Auble of Wellington; four grandchildren, Anthony Logan, Regina Logan, Eric Stemple and Laura Queen; step-granddaughter, Angelica Kolinda; three great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. In addition, LaDonna is survived by a sister-in-law, Marion Mills.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Charles and two brothers, Paul and Robert Mills.
Visitation will be held from 10 A.M. until the time of service at 11 A.M., Monday, September 17, 2012 at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington, with Rev. James Peter officiating. Burial will follow in Rochester Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the family in care of Norton-Eastman Funeral Home.
