CINCINNATI – The day didn’t start well for the Browns, who trail the Bengals 7-3 after the first quarter at Paul Brown Stadium.
After getting one first down on the opening possession, the Browns punted and Cincinnati’s Adam Jones returned it 81 yards for a touchdown. Seven Browns had chances at Jones, but all missed. Rookie Johnson Bademosi was the first one downfield and whiffed at about the 20-yard line.
The Browns recovered on their next possession and Phil Dawson kicked a 50-yard field goal.
Rookie defensive tackle Billy Winn, who has started both games, left the game with a head injury and won’t return.
Both teams are 0-1.
