Tammy C. Messer, 34, a resident Elyria since 1999, and formerly of North Ridgeville, died Saturday, September 15, 2012, at her home, following a lifelong illness. Tammy was born October 12, 1977, in Parma.
A 1996 graduate of North Ridgeville High School, Tammy was an avid reader and enjoyed playing bingo and on her computer. She will be lovingly remembered for her positive attitude and seeking the good in everyone. She would often remind her family and friends to “live each day as if it were your last”.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Deloris and Bill, Elyria; father and stepmother, Wayne and Paula, Parma; brothers, Douglas and Robert Wayne Light, both of Elyria and David Messer, Lorain; sister, Karlie Messer, Parma; and grandparents, James and Alice Messer, Parma. Tammy was preceded in death by grandparents, Dewey and Wilma Ashby; and her sister, Theresa Light.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2012, in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Private graveside services will be held at Lutheran Cemetery, Cleveland.
