Critter Chronicles: Jake

JAKE

Jake was surrendered by his elderly owner because of health reasons. He was neutered when young and displays no unattractive male traits or tendencies.
Jake was left at the pound in hopes he would be adopted, but he was so nervous in the cage that he would jump and bark when the other dogs got him started. He wanted someone to give him attention. When he was taken outside he learned quickly to walk on a leash and was very calm. When he came home from the pound he sat quietly in the car and quickly laid down and fell asleep. He has met very active boxer dogs and gets along well with others. He has been very affectionate to both adults and children as young as 2 years old. He is a big lug and a little uncoordinated, but now is a calm and submissive boy.
