Paul Bosely

Paul Bosely, 70, of New London, died Saturday morning, September 22, 2012, at the Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Firelands, in New London. He was born October 17, 1941 in Waneta West Virginia, to Edna and the late Camden Bosely.

Paul graduated from Webster Springs High School and then proudly served his Country in the United States Army for six years, coming to the New London area in the ’60s.

Paul retired from Lake Terminal Railroad as a conductor. He was an active member of the Wellington Freewill Baptist Church. Paul enjoyed golfing and hunting and spending time at the beach. He cherished the time that he spent with his grandchildren.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years, Beatrice (nee Lafferty); his mother, Edna Woodyard of Elyria; children, Bruce Bosely of Huron, Tammy Crowe (Arnold Hall) of Elyria and Kristy (Joseph) Gardner McGuire of Elyria; and eight grandchildren.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, Camden; and stepfather, Fred Woodyard; brother, Larry; and grandson, Tyler Gardner.

Friends and family will be received Monday, September 24, 2012, at the Wellington Freewill Baptist Church, 205 Woodland St., from 5 until 8 P.M., where services will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2012, beginning at 11 A.M., with Pastors Roger Rice and Roger Fitzwater officiating. Burial will follow at Grovestreet Cemetery, New London.
