AVON — The driver who struck and killed a construction worker on Interstate 90 on Sept. 12 faces charges.
Anthony Rose Jr., 50, of Brecksville, was charged today with vehicular manslaughter and failure to maintain an assured clear distance, according to a police news release.
Peter Maglis, 63, of Campbell, died after being hit as he worked on the under construction Nagel Road overpass at 9:12 a.m. by the Jeep Rose was driving.
Rose, who turned himself in to police, is free on a personal bond.
