Russell Lee Lindsey, 67, of Elyria, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at New Life Hospice Center in Lorain, following his battle with Cancer. He was born July 7, 1944 in Wlliard, Ohio.
He graduated from Elyria High School. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. His greatest joy was spending time with family, grandchildren, puppy and friends.
Russell leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Angel James and her husband, Robert James; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Johnny, Skyler, Kohen, Myleah and Rylan of Elyria.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Hilda Uhlar.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 2 P.M. at Peace Mennonite Church, 9300 West Ridge Rd., Elyria, OH 44035. Pastor Adams, will officiate, (440) 322-7344.
