ELYRIA — Five people received non-life-threatening injuries in a head-on car crash around 11:55 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of state Route 57 and Chestnut Ridge Road.
Four unidentified people in a Ford Windstar van — including a young child — were taken to EMH Regional Medical Center in Elyria, according to Trooper Ray Santiago of the Ohio Highway Patrol Elyria post. The unidentified driver of the Volkswagon Jetta in the crash was also taken to EMH. The cause of the crash was under investigation early Friday.
