Browns down 34-20 after 3 quarters

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Browns are 15 minutes from an 0-5 start.

The Giants extended their lead to 34-20 after three quarters at MetLife Stadium.

Victor Cruz caught his third touchdown of the game, a 28-yarder from Eli Manning. Cruz beat rookie nickelback Trevin Wade, who was in the game because Dimitri Patterson was carted off with an ankle injury.

The Browns managed a 41-yard field goal from Phil Dawson to cut the deficit to 14 points. Joshua Cribbs’ 74-yard kick return set up the score.
