Anthony Tiwain King, Sr.

Anthony Tiwain King, Sr., 34, of Lorain, passed away at his home Friday, October 5, 2012, after a brief illness. He was born February 17, 1978 in Lorain, where he was a lifelong resident.

He was employed as a supervisor at MetoKote Corp. in Sheffield Lake. He also enjoyed fishing, wrestling, playing video games, and spending time with family and friends, especially his wife and children.

Anthony is survived by his wife of seven years, Christina King; seven children, Shyrionna King of Lorain, Malique and Madajia King of Elyria, Deianera King, Anala Capers, Amaia King and Anthony King, Jr., all of Lorain; his mother, Alice Paige and step father, Jake Paige, both of Lorain; his father, Douglas Moore, Sr. and step mother, Ethel Merritt-Taylor, both of Lorain; four brothers, Timothy, Jantz, and Dominic Merritt, all of Lorain, and Toma Williams of Las Vegas Nevada; sister, Janisha Moore of Jacksonville, Florida; goddaughter, Anthonya Fox of Cleveland; grandmothers, Betty King and Carrie Moore; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Lester King and Wes Moore; and a brother, Douglas Moore, Jr.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 13, 2012, from 11 A.M., until time of funeral service at 12 Noon at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 3900 Clifton Ave, Lorain. The Reverend Peter Tower is officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
