Critter Chronicles: Holly

HOLLY

Like so many other dogs, Holly’s guardians experienced some major life changes and had to move. The new apartment life would not suit her. She needs room to play and someone who will have time to give her lots of love and attention. She is playful with other dogs. A family with children would be great as she loves to show off to them. She is friendly and loving with new people, though hesitant at first. Because of her breed mix, she is intelligent and energetic. She will need consistent training and exercise, though she also will enjoy a relaxing, lazy day with you. She would make a good agility candidate, or exercise companion. Holly has some training with a professional trainer and is a most obedient girl. She is a known escape artist with a leash/harness, so precautions must be taken. She gets anxious when people come and go from the house, but some regular exercise and consistent training would help with this. A secure, fenced-in yard would be the ideal scenario, though no electric fencing for her. She does not like to be crated, but she is loose in the house during the day without any problems. She is a sweet, loving and fun-spirited girl. Won’t you help her?
