The protracted negotiations between Mercy Regional Medical Center and its nurses may be over.
After an marathon negotiating session Thursday, a tentative agreement was reached. Details of it are not being released until the nurses are given the details, which they will be during a series of meetings Saturday.
If approved, the agreement will ward off a planned 24-hour strike that was scheduled for next week.
