Lena A. Warner (nee Turcich), 96, of North Ridgeville, passed away Friday, October 12, 2012 at West Bay Care and Rehab Center, Westlake. She was born in Farrel, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1957.
Lena worked as a cook for Howard Johnson in North Ridgeville for 25 years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and active with the North Ridgeville Senior Center, where she was a member of the Senior Kitchen Band. She enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include her sons, Anthony (Sharon) of Strongsville, Ronald (Eileen) of Newnan, Georgia, Gerald (Bonnie) of North Ridgeville; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Warner; parents, John and Helen Turcich; brother, John Turcich; and sister, Goldyn.
Friends may call Monday, October 15, 2012, from 6 until 8 P.M., at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville, where a prayer service will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at 9:30 A.M., followed by a 10 A.M. Mass, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville, 44039. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery.
