INDIANAPOLIS – A drive for each team took up the whole first quarter, and Indianapolis led 7-0 at the end of the period at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The Colts took the opening kickoff and methodically marched 80 yards for a touchdown. Rookie quarterback Andrew Luck scrambled in from 3 yards to cap an 11-play drive that took 7:37. Luck was 4-for-4 for 67 yards.
With their turn, the Browns held the ball for the rest of the quarter. They had the ball inside the 5 when the quarter ended.
The Browns (1-5) are looking for their second straight win. The Colts are 2-3 and coming off a 35-9 loss at the New York Jets.
