WAKEMAN — Bogey, the horse that escaped a Pittsfield Township home several weeks ago, is back home.
An Oberlin woman, Gina Robinson, lured Bogey with treats Sunday evening after another neighbor saw him near her horses.
She got close enough to use a rope and strap as a makeshift halter after seeing the horse drinking from a mud puddle in a field.

“I was thankful he didn’t head toward the highway,” said Robinson, the mother of three children.
The horse disappeared from the Hughes Road home of Rachel DiCesare, who was thinking about buying Bogey from his owner, Cindy Scherry of Wakeman.
Scherry said she is incredibly thankful for the help of Robinson and anyone else who searched for the wayward equine since he dropped out of sight in September.
“So many people came out to help; I am so amazed,” she said.
