Leonard L. Burch

Leonard L. Burch, 87, went home peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 21, 2012. He was born December 9, 1924, in Kansas, Ohio and lived in Elyria for over two years, coming from Berryville, Virginia.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran in WWII European Theatre. He retired as a production planner for Conair in Franklin, Pennsylvania and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, along with re-finishing furniture and building doll houses.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Majorie (nee Saunders) Burch; three sons, Robert (Kathy) of Orrstown, Pennsylvania, Roger (Toni) of Avon and Jeffrey (Rose) of Huron; and one daughter, Anita (Dean) Grant-Myers of Cape Coral, Floriad; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and one grandson.

A memorial service will be held Sunday November 11, 2012, at 3 P.M., in the Misencik Funeral Home, 36363 Detroit Rd. Avon. Interment will be private.
