William J. Galler, 88, formerly of Avon Lake, and Danville, Ohio, died peacefully on Thursday, September 6, 2012, in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he was living at the time, following a brief illness. Born in Garfield, New Jersey, on January 30, 1924 to the late Frank and Rosalia Galler.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 27, 2012, at 11 A.M., at Resthaven Memory Gardens of Avon, 3700 Center Rd.
In lieu of flowers and cards, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 8th Ave., 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001-6792 or the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
