AVON LAKE — Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has taken the stage with Ohio Sen. Rob Portman, who introduced the former Massachusetts governor to the excited crowd.
“Commit to Mitt!” Portman told the crowd, who cheered enthusiastically.
Ohio’s junior senator also encouraged the crowd to vote early not only for Romney but for other Republican candidates, including Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel, who is challenging U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Avon.
